The last meeting of Encontros sobre Arte e Império had a special structure resulting from a collaboration between CHAM and JORGE WELSH, Oriental Porcelain and Works of Art, Lisbon.
This conference on Global Networks: Portuguese Asia and Renaissance Collections. The Role of Agents and Merchants in the Formation of Princely Kunstkammers and Menageries, was presented by Annemarie Jordan, and took place at Jorge Welsh’s Gallery, Rua da Misericórdia 43, Lisbon on the 26th of February at 6 pm.
On this special occasion, allusive works of art to the subject in debate were displayed.
